Slackline set

Slackline setHello everybody! You have come to a site dedicated to slackline set – one of the most popular set-ups of a slackline.

I will cover everything connected with slackline set (or kit) – why it is so popular, what types are available, where you can buy them and of course how to use them properly.

Plus I will add some more tips and tricks to increase your skill and make your slacklining more entertaining!

Types of sets and where to buy them?

I have chosen products from two brands that I would like to recommend you – Gibbon and Mammut.

While Gibbon set is cheaper, easier to use and is without a doubt the better choice for beginners, the Mammut slackline kit offers more creativity in set-up so it`s more suitable for experienced slackliners.

I will talk briefly about each set and include also a link where you can get more information, read customer reviews or buy it.

Gibbon Classic Slackline Set

Gibbon Classic Slackline setGibbon sets are famous for their simplicity – the kit consists of just two parts which you anchor to the trees and join together, nothing more. You are able to set it up in two minutes and start slacklining (check out the videotutorial). They come with a 2 inch wide webbing so the slacklining is very comfortable.

The main Gibbon set is called Classic and it`s a really good choice for everybody. You can choose from two lengths:

15 meter (49 ft) for $71.95
25 meter (82 ft) for $89.99

Go for the 15m line if you don`t intend to perform some longer moves, it`s cheaper and it will do the job perfectly. Otherwise – grab the 25m version.

You can BUY the Classic set here. Both the lines share a same page on Amazon (you just select you preferred length) .

Gibbon Funline

Gibbon funlineGibbon also manufactures two slackline kits for a special usage – the first is Funline. The flexibility of the line is decreased and there are also rubber prints on the line for better grip – so it is an ideal option for kids or beginners who are afraid that they will have problems on a classic line.

Funline has 15 meters and costs $79.99

You can get more information or BUY it here .

Gibbon Jibline

Gibbon JiblineAnd now the opposite of Funline – the Jibline. It has rubber integrated in the mesh which makes the line super flexible and bouncy. Great for jumps and other slackline tricks!

Jibline comes also in 15m length with price of $99.99

Read more information or BUY it here.

Mammut Slackline Set

Mammut Slackline setAnd finally, the Slackline set from Mammut. You will quickly notice that the price is really high – but if you have some experience with slacklining and plan to develop it even further, you should consider this gear because the quality is really high.

The safety is even increased because of different rigging system where you can remove the ratchet before slacklining. And it comes with two different surfaces on the webbing.

The length of Mummut Slackline set is 20m, price is $169.95

You can BUY it here.
